Mesotherapy or “biorejuvenation” or “biorevitalization”, is a technique used to rejuvenate the skin by means of a transdermal injection of a multivitamin solution and natural plant extracts.
- skin rejuvenation
- reduced signs of skin ageing
- reduced pigmentation
- skin glow
- fat lipolysis
- less skin laxity and wrinkles
Mesotherapy by dictionary means injecting something in the mesoderm. Initially being used rampantly for fat reduction (lipolysis), it came into use for hair loss treatment too.
Scientific basis for mesotherapy: to provide nutrition in the form of boosters and vitamins, minerals and simple other substances. The area concerned is aimed to be made better by the various cocktails of serums used.
Mesotherapy is indicated mainly in hair loss, for skin rejuvenation and also for fat lipolysis (e.g. in double chin)
How to give Mesotherapy?
Nappage technique – done by a one ml insulin syringe. Various growth factor, hair vitalisers, vitamins such as vit B12, vit H etc are deposited in the tissues in a shorter span of time within a larger area.
Popular technique – a bit painful and so anaesthetic gel may be applied before or a vibration device can be used at the time of the procedure (the doctor will tell you the protocols as well as the procedures). It’s a pretty good technique of depositing the substances in a bolus amount all over the area concerned in a grid fashion.
